A small state-space AI model I shrank 2.27 times with mixed precision.
I built a small AI model and then shrank it. Mixed precision made my own model 2.27 times smaller, and a later 16-bit version ran 1.24 times faster than its 32-bit version.
It uses a different kind of model, called a state-space model, with a mix of experts. I packaged it so it runs on an ordinary computer processor.
